P.S. Time for some FOOD!!!! :-D

Lord Jesus...Fix Me...Unless I Don't Need It!

So I did something stupid tonight. I went to a open mic and was singing India Arie's "Ready For Love." That wasn't the stupid thing...I ROCKED IT!!!! :-D

I was just having an awesome time...afterwards I got approached by a lot of people about music, and singing, and writing, and collaborating.

I decided I was going to flirt and just have a good time. The ladies were loving me especially tonight, and I must say it was nice having the attention. I just wanted to have a good time. Not sex mind you...I wanted to further my career and just go by leaps and bounds.

Now there was this one guy who was there. He could be Van's twin. I mean he really reminded me of him. It was scary. My pulse was racing, my heart was pounding, I was sweating. We met each other and he said I did a good job...I looked him up and down and smiled.

He smirked at me...he said he loved to hear a man who can sing. He said that my voice was so deep and sultry that it hit him somewhere special. To be honest I didn't even hear all that. All I could focus on was that this dude looked a lot like Van.

Even with the curly hair.

I left before anything could happen, and while I walking to my car he followed me to exchange numbers. I kissed him. He started to say something, but I told him to shut up. I didn't want him to talk...he might look a lot like Van, but he didn't sound like him.

What the hell is wrong with me?

We didn't have sex. We were about to, but in the throws of everything he said say my name and I actually said Van's name. I was stuck. At that point I told him he needed to leave. I drove home, and hear I sit telling you guys the story.

I just don't know what happened. I mean I have been really horny as of late, and I've been having to push Van outta my head extra hard. I mean I kept thinking about him...everything brought him up. It was crazy.

I just gotta remember...he ain't thinking, worrying, or caring about me. I could be dead and he would never know. I mean he talks to no one from my circle anymore so if something bad did happen it would be whatever.

Jesus help me...why am I thinking about him? Why have me think about someone who is set in staying in his box...he said it before...he don't want out of his comfort zone. He don't want anything outside of what he knows.

God what am I suppose to learn and do with these feelings.

Time for bed. Going to be in the city tomorrow and in BK. Gotta go see a friend of mine and they live 2 blocks away from his house. That isn't going to be easy.

Ignorant Ass "Christians" Better Yet CHURCH FOLK!!!

I'm confused...why is it that church folk swear that everything that comes out of their mouth is pure Gospel!!!

I just don't understand...

Some of you may be asking why I am so mad. I'll tell you. I was out with some people and it was beautiful. I could see all the stars. It was really great.

So I mentioned I always have a hard time identifying the constellations and I used to be able to identify the North Star, but now I couldn't.

Some smart ass who calls himself a "Christian" who will be referred to as Church Folk got all in my face. Started saying all this nonsense about how Astronomy is of the devil and it is evil and that I should repent right away.

I didn't have to come down so hard on the guy but I needed to get my point across. I was a bit nasty now that I think about it.

The main points I gave him is that Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences that we have. It has been practiced just as long if not longer than medical sciences. The stars and such have been used for weather foretelling, agriculture, festivals, and holidays. Many things we base alot of what we do and use today.

But now as I think about it, it isn't totally his fault. He has been fed ignorance, bigotry, and stupidity his whole life. On the other hand he is a grown man and is held responsible for his actions...especially coming after me.

I'm starting to see why ppl say what they say about the Church. Ignorant ass people need to shut the hell up!!!

Crazy ass people.

Forgive my rant...I needed to get it out, and I don't do it very often. I try to let it slide, but he was coming for me, so I had to go for his neck.

God forgive me for being so cruel...I coulda and shoulda handled it differently. I'm getting better...he caught me at a weak moment. No excuse I know...but I will do better.

Can We Talk For A Minute?

Today was weird...I was doing real good. Then out of nowhere Van popped up into my head...like real hard.

I mean it came out of nowhere.

I am so tempted to call him...to talk to him. Almost like today something big was happening.

I am tired and going to bed. Since I cannot say anymore that I haven't already said I just want to leave you guys with 2 songs. This has been on my heart all damn week!!!!

The second one I heard in the gym of all places and it made me stop think, laugh, and just reflect.

Not saying these songs mean anything...maybe I can use them as inspiration for when I write my songs.

Religion vs. Spirituality

So this is not a new debate, but one that has been heating up a lot lately.

I have read the bible and continue to do so. The God of the bible is not a religious God...he is a God of spiritual foundation and freedoms.

I have been asked to give a talk on this topic, and I am getting everything in order. I was not looking forward to it at first. I mean most church folk are in fact super religious. A lot of what they believe and say is based off of a doctrine and a dogma.

Anything that separates and condemns a people/person cannot be of God.

I never thought this would be a talk that I would be giving. I so wish I could just live my life in peace and quiet with the love of my life. Living a simple yet extravagant life. :-)

In other news last night I mentored someone on some relationship issues. Took me awhile, but I finally got through. His situation is similar to mine. It was a great talk, and he was very happy. Said he was going to tell more and more people about me.

Sounds like another possible career. :-)

At the very end it turned to God. He was so sad cause he was told his whole life that he isn't doing the right thing and blah blah blah.

I just cannot deal all these people doing damage in the name of God!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!

So I gave him spirituality and God 101. We will talk again and get more into what it means to be a man of God...a child of God. :-)

I am so happy to be living in my purpose. God is so real, and I just want people to know that.

So now back to listening to my Sister Act...just finished and it brought back such good memories. :-P

I have a question for all of you: What do you do when God has such high things for you that your part in it is so monumentous that it gives you a headache?? That is my current dilemna.

I have yet to find a good business to buy yet, but I have found a great property to buy. Just gotta get my lawyer to draft some papers. This business thing has a lot of moving parts. Smh.

I hope you all are doing great!!! I also started a blog for my business, that I've left to the side for a long time. Going to get back into it...gotta raise the game. And that means staying super motivated.

Changes to Be Made

I don't really like the name of this blog anymore.

I mean I am still going to write and give more and more of my story and myself...without giving away who I am.

Just wanna keep some anonymity. Not that I am ashamed, but just that I feel somethings can be shared and others cannot. I just feel somethings I am happy to share, but some personal stuff shouldn't be.

But the blog name: Black, Gay, and Saved just doesn't fit me.

I am a child of the ever living and loving God. I don't think I should be describing myself by my sexuality and my salvation.

I mean I am who I am. I think a better way to name the blog is Daily Walk: A Man's Journey. That actually sounds like a good title for me memoirs. :-)

Now I am sitting here and planning and thinking about my day. Thinking about who and what I am looking to do and become. I mean I know I am bi (though some say b/c I like men more than women that I am gay with a taste for women), and I walk everyday feeling so good and happy about who I am.

But there is so much more. So much that I want to do. I started to do more talks and events again. I am beginning to do what it is that I was meant to do. I am also being asked to sing and perform more. Classical as well as popular stuff.

Now back to setting up my goals and dreams. God is so good...he just needs me to jump out of my comfort zone. I know that I must do the opposite of the status quo...that I must always live outside of my comfort zone.

Not everyone can do it...but I can. :-)

Lesson I want to leave you guys with before I leave.

"When someone shows you who they are, especially when they tell you, BELIEVE THEM!"
