Happy Father's Day

Just wanna start off this Sunday saying Happy Father's Day to all the cousins, brothers, uncles, fathers, friends, strangers, teachers, etc. that have been a positive influence for the young boys and girls. 

 

You may know it or you may not know it, but you are a father figure and you have made a difference.

Keep touching these young people's lives. 

 

I've been blessed with my own father and also all the men who have been in my life from my cousins, uncles, friends, colleagues, mentors, associates, and even my brothers who have taught and pored into me.

Don't think that this one day you get is all there is...we are unsung heros but it doesn't mean we aren't being honored everyday in some way. Everyone have a blessed Sunday and treat the men in your lives special. Even if it is just a hug and saying thank you.

 

So today I spend an easy calm day hanging with my dad. My grandmother came up last night so they have to drive her back to BK but that should be later. They had a long day yesterday and a lot of fun last night. So they deserve to sleep in and get some serious sleep.

 

I am reminded how blessed I am, and I don't take it for granted.
